Supporting educational initiatives in the communities in which we operate is a source of pride for our company. This includes building and operating new schools and educational facilities, supporting historically-underserved children from rural areas.
We are dedicated to enhancing healthcare accessibility and outcomes, especially for vulnerable communities. Our focus includes: building new medical facilities; upgrading existing ones; providing maternity services; and distributing medicines in remote areas. We are proud to serve many thousands of patients annually.
Indorama knows that communities rely on their local infrastructure. That’s why we are proud to support infrastructure development in the countries where we operate: constructing new roads; improving existing ones; and installing new street-lights.
Drinking water and sanitation are the essentials of life itself. That is why we work tirelessly to provide these services to communities in the countries where we operate through wells, water storage tanks, and piped water.
Our livelihood programs help equip economically marginalized people with the skills, knowledge, and resources necessary to build more comfortable lives. We are proud to have helped hundreds of people to develop their skills and grow their livelihoods in the communities where we operate.
Building Educational Infrastructure
We run a senior secondary school in India, serving children from rural areas. In Indonesia, we run a Polytechnic School for budding engineers. We constructed a new auditorium at the Aleto community school in Nigeria and built new classrooms in Senegal and India.
Creating State-of-the-Art Facilities
We constructed state-of-the-art healthcare facilities to serve the Edegelem and Okerewa communities in Nigeria. We donated medical gloves in Manjung in Indonesia. We also operate a healthcare facility in Jagdishpur, India, treating over 100,000 patients annually.
Building New Roads
In Nigeria, we have built new roads to serve the Ogu and Njuru communities. We have improved roads in Indonesia and Uzbekistan. We joined India’s “Clean the River Ganges” initiative, building new bathing ghats and crematoria.

Providing Clean Water
We provide piped water to communities in Senegal. We are also proud to have constructed new bore wells and water storage facilities in Nigeria, with similar projects in Indonesia.
Providing Sustainable Livelihoods
In Nigeria, we have trained over 500 people as welders, scaffolders, electricians, and painters. In India, we have helped women train as beauticians and tailors. We also supported over 100 people in setting up poultry farms in West Bengal.
