As we celebrate 50 years of innovation and excellence, Indorama is proud to unveil our bold Decarbonization Plan— a commitment to reduce our GHG emissions by c. 20% by 2028. With an investment of $130 million, this ambitious initiative integrates renewable energy, energy reduction, waste heat recovery and advanced manufacturing technologies to create a resilient and sustainable future.
Key Highlights of the Plan:
- Reducing GHG emissions by at least 1.2 million tons/year by 2028.
- Achieving a 29% reduction in Emission Intensity (EI) by 2028.
- Carbon Capture and Sequestration (CCS) projects in Nigeria and Georgia to drive significant emission reductions further.
