Human Resources

Indorama Corporation employs over 15,000 people from 15 nationalities. Human resources plays a significant role at Indorama, starting with the dictum of People First.

Programs such as IMAP and IOTP represent our effort for developing and grooming future managers. Fresh graduates from diverse disciplines are carefully handpicked and immersed into a comprehensive program before they are assigned challenging assignments across the company.

Indorama has a very transparent performance evaluation system, including a balanced scorecard system and 360-degree appraisal system.

We conduct various diagnostic surveys periodically across the organization, including an Employee Engagement Survey.

The positive outcome of such practices and philosophy is the fact that turnover among white-collar employees is much lower compared to industry norms.

Indorama fosters a family like culture within the organization. Employees are referred to as being part of the large Indorama family. We believe a sense of belonging is very important and we try to pay attention to the needs of individuals. Employees are encouraged to work independently and create value for stakeholders. In addition, Indorama endeavors to give wide exposure to employees in various areas of management and technical expertise. In short, Indorama believes that the place of work should be a place of joy.
